What a fun week we had, Robbin and her family came up from Texas and Brad and his family came out from Denver and with Tom already living here, we had a great time!

Knights Football Banquet

Jaxson finished a great season as running back on offense, scoring 18 touchdowns, kicker, kick returner (yes, Ty...his name came true..Jackie the kicker!!), and line backer on defense! Tonight we celebrated the season with a banquet! Great job Knights!

San Diego

Noelle shares her birthday with our anniversary and this being Noelle's 40th B-day, Jared decided to surprise her and have us meet them in San Diego for a few days. I decided to make it fun for us and surprise Derek too..ok, so not very much fun to surprise Derek..lesson learned! Sorry babe!
Still we had a great time and Leslie met us there from Kansas City too! Warm weather, great food, Navy Seals training off Coronado Island, lots of shopping and great conversations! Wish we lived closer! Miss you guys already!

I kept forgetting to take pictures, but the memories are ingrained! Here are two photos I shot and a few videos(walk on the pier, view of the pier from the street, dolphins jumping in waves)!

Sophie was here!!!

What a great week we had! It started off with Sophie's arrival at the airport and a fun filled week of shopping, movies and hanging out! It ended with a two final football games and the girls' basketball game!
We already miss you Sophie, we're so glad you were able to come visit for the week!

Somehow I lost the best of Jaxson's 5 touchdowns from Saturday. I uploaded it to FB where he was dragging a Raiders player on the ground to reach the goal line and leaps forward and the ball barely goes over the line! If you want to see it you'll have to copy and paste the link below and go to the Facebook page!

Halloween Menu!

We LOVE Halloween and this year we are trying to celebrate everyday since we will make Sunday a stay at home family day! One of the funnest ways to celebrate around here is with food! Here is what we have planned so far....

We all made our own mummy's and I wish I had taken our own pictures..kids got very creative!!
Tonight, we are serving up some eyeballs over worms drenched in blood!! At first Brock was not interested in this dinner, but soon he got into the Halloween spirit and had a great time helping roll the ground turkey breast into eyeballs and putting in the little olive pupils!!! (I'll post our pictures right before I serve it up!

This is our plan for Sunday dinner....I will make a yummy vegetable soup and serve it out of a pumpkin and then we will get these cute bread bowls from Great Harvest and eat the soup from here! Yum...can't wait!
Brock has also had fun dressing up with old costumes and was a Lion for story time at the public library!

Ward Trunk or Treat!!
