5th grade concert

Gotta love the Earhart messages! This couple performs all over the country and it was a lot of fun to see Jaxson and his friends singing these fun "earthy" songs! Wish I would have recorded it...but here is a live version of another school. Today they go perform it at a state wide competition!

Bridging over

Jaxson and Seth both bridged tonight to 11 year old scouts! They were excited to walk over to Derek as he was just called as 11 year old scout master! They will have a great time this next year!

Chickens!!

This was the only picture that got snapped! 8 weeks ago we went in on 25 chickens with the Rogers. They have all this property at their house in Benton and so we decided to raise chickens to slaughter. Derek was not easily convinced but in the end he did great at butchering them up. Bella and Brock didn't last too long but Jaxson, Grace and Luke were big helpers and assisted in every part from catching them live, holding them by their feet, to cutting them open, and plucking off feathers! We finished after 1am but really had a fun night with friends and now lots of chicken to eat! Glad to have such great friends! Jaxson took the foot to church the next day and would grab the tendons as the foot waved to everyone out the window ;)
