Madison, Mississippi

After Branson, we drove on to Stacie and Jess' cute house in Madison, just north of Jackson. It is a beautiful place with lots of big trees. They have a really nice house in a great neighborhood with a park, swimming pool and fun neighbors(Anders and Savannah) that the kids hit it off with really well and spent most of their weekend with! We swam, ate, played rockband, walked to the park, went to fun restaurants, went to the movies and met all their friends at church. We were a lot for Milo to take in at first but one by one, he started warming up to us...he didn't quite make it to Bella and Brock's lap...but a couple more days and it might have happened! It was fun to be a part of their life and have lots of laughs and great memories! Can't wait to see them again!

Branson

Mom and Dad and Jan continued on after Wichita towards Mississippi to see Stacie and the kids and I joined them. We drove about half way and stayed at our timeshare in Branson. We swam alot and went to the Fall Creek roll throwing restaurant and for the first time saw a Branson show. We went to the Island Fire Show at the Dutton theatre. It was fun and really entertaining! Grace even got to shake her hips on the stage when a cute Polynesian boy asked her to come up! Lots of fun memories.

4th of July

Since all fireworks were outlawed this year in Bel Aire, we enjoyed a firework show on Thursday night at Bradley Fair! It was great and I embarrased my kids by crying..one day they will understand the value of their freedom, but until then, they can laugh at me crying!
Then Grandma and Grandpa and Jibby came to visit for the weekend. So on the 4th we rented a boat and headed to El Dorado Lake, Robbin and her friend from Colorado Springs, Eduardo. We rode around and swam in the dirty lake! Poor Brock with his pink Barbie lifejacket! We then had a BBQ over at our house with lots of yummy food. We sat out on the deck to see fireworks in the city, there were more fireflies that fireworks and soon the bugs chased us indoors!

Brock's pacie's

I've been pretty good at getting rid of the pacies before they become a problem with my older kids, but somehow, Brock got to that point. We try to make them keep them in his bed and they are only allowed while sleeping or emergencies(like sacrament or long car rides). Well, we often find that he sneeks them out and what's even uglier is that he has about 4-5 pacies and sometimes sucks on all of them at the same time! It's a big game to him now...I'm going to have to get brave and do something about this!!
Here is a picture with a bunch of pacies in his mouth!

Summer days swimming!

We have had a great and relaxing summer. We have spent most of our time at the Bel Aire swimming pool with our new membership. After 4 weeks of swimming lessons, Jaxson, Grace and Bella can all swim laps in the deep end! Now I just chase Brock around as he tries to keep up with the rest.
